Say hello to more ITM convenience! You can now access a MAX ITM with a custom passcode. For those who do not have a debit card, it is a secure option for accessing your account via an ITM.

Set your 4-6 digit passcode today by visiting any branch location or by calling 334.260.2600 (local) or 800.776.6776 (toll-free). This code should not be shared with anyone and MAX will never call or text and ask you to set up, change, or share your passcode.

An ITM is an Interactive Teller Machine. An ITM combines the traditional functions of an ATM with added capabilities such as making a loan payment, transferring between accounts, and even active teller assistance. ITMs allow you to speak face-to-face with a live MAX representative on a video screen so you get the same in-office personal service from our tellers in a simpler, more convenient, & secure way.

ITMs allow our members to have a live face-to-face interaction with video tellers at the ATM, delivering a highly personalized, differentiated experience.

Immediate improvements for members include: no deposit slip required, drive up convenience, the teller view is unobstructed and clear, and members will receive images of their processed checks right on the receipt.

We are not closing branches. You may choose to perform teller-assisted transaction via video at the ITM or continue to visit any MAX branch during normal business hours.

  • Issue Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders
  • Print forms, statements, or tax documents
  • Dispense more than 100 bills at one time
  • Accept more than 50 checks at one time
  • Request transfers to accounts you are not linked to

Select Cash Check. Then select the account. For checks over $1000, select Request Teller Assistance.

Select Deposit and the Deposit Type. Then select the Account for deposit. Follow the prompts to complete the transaction. Insert bills into the machine unfolded and flat. The machine will read and count each bill and will display the deposit amount on the screen for verification. Tip: Cash, up to 100 items, can be inserted on the left side. Checks, up to 50 items, can be inserted on the right side.

Sure! The ITM works as an enhanced ATM until you tap the button to talk to us.

Forgot your debit card or ATM card or don't have one? No problem. You can use your ITM passcode to access your account. Set up your secure ITM passcode in any branch or by calling 1.800.776.6776 (toll-free) or 334.260.2600 (local). Never share your passcode with anyone. MAX will never contact you and ask you to set up, change, or share your passcode. You can also request a card in any branch or by calling one of the numbers above.

Simply use cash, a check, or make a transfer from your MAX Credit Union account. If you are using a different MAX account to pay your loan, please request Teller Assistance.

No, your account will be updated just as timely as it is when you come inside the credit union.

Yes, the ITM is secure. The Video Tellers will use the same authentication procedure as our in-branch tellers before processing any transactions.   

You can adjust the volume of the machine to a preferred level.

You bet! We wouldn’t let just anybody handle your money. All video tellers are MAX employees who are working from a centralized location. They have the same expertise as the staff you know and trust inside the credit union lobby.

No, these are not replacing any of our current member representatives or staff. When you complete a teller-assisted transaction, you’ll be dealing with one of our skilled representatives! This allows our branch teams to more efficiently assist members in the lobby, while still providing a personalized experience in the drive-thru to those who want or need assistance.
