Before you can utilize our mobile banking app or access our online platform, you need to enroll for the service. Enrollment is simple, and only needs to be completed once. It takes only takes minutes to complete, and MAX Online & Mobile Banking is FREE - regardless of how often you utilize it. Just answer a few enrollment questions and follow the prompts. If you don't own a smartphone or if you have limited data from your cellular provider, text banking allows you to gather your most current account balances, review posted transactions, or make simple transfers between your MAX accounts. Text banking is free to you as a MAX customer and enrolling for text banking is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to start texting with MAX.
How to set up Text Banking:
- Log in to Online Banking
- Navigate to the Settings category
- Select Text Enrollment
Turn on your Notifications
Enter your mobile number
Agree to the terms
- Navigate to Account Preferences
Click on an account
Navigate to the SMS/Text tab
Turn on SMS/Text
Assign your 4 letter SMS/Text Display Name (Example: SVNG)
Repeat for every account you would like access to through Text Banking
To access Text Banking, text the number 226563 with one of the following text commands:
|BAL or BAL <4 letter SMS/Text Display Name>
||Receive account balance (if not nickname is included, the balances of all enabled accounts will be listed)
|HIST or HIST <4 letter SMS/Text Display Name>
||Receive account history
|XFER <from 4 letter SMS/Text Display Name> <to 4 letter SMS/Text Display Name> <Amount>
||Transfer funds between accounts
||XFER SVNG CKNG $5.00
|LIST|| Receive a list of available text commands
|HELP|| Receive a list of contact points for information on text banking
|STOP|| Stop all text messages to your mobile device
