We are not simply moving into this community – we are becoming a part of it. Why? Well, that’s simple. Supporting our communities means supporting you.
What’s smarter than that?
In fact, MAX is donating $10,000 to non-profit organizations you will help us select. Brilliant, don’t you think?
You decide. All you have to do is nominate your favorite non-profit organization by using the hashtag #MAXgives in a public tweet or public status update.
In the first phase of this contest, we are asking the community to nominate local non-profit organizations that deserve a donation from MAX. The nomination has to be a 501(c)(3) that has an impact in the Troy area. Qualifying non-profit organizations will receive an automatic entry into the Contest when they are nominated on Facebook or Twitter by an individual, organization, or company using the “#MAXGives” hashtag in a public status update or public tweet between May 17, 2016 and August 31, 2016. The organization’s name and “#MAXGives” hashtag must be used in a public (unblocked) status update when using Facebook or an unprotected tweet when using Twitter to be accepted.
Three finalists will be selected from your nominations!
In the second phase of our contest, the finalists will submit videos to tell you more about their positive impact on the Troy community. You will get to vote for your favorite finalists on MAX’s Facebook page. Voters will be able to submit a vote per day for each organization they wish to support. You decide which organization deserves your vote, and the largest donation from MAX. Voting will begin in November and we will announce the winner at our ribbon cutting ceremony at the new, state-of-the-art branch on Highway 231.
The first place winner will receive $7,500 to assist them in their efforts to improve the community! The organization with the next highest number of votes will receive $1,500. Third place organization will receive $1,000.*
Through our community involvement, we look forward to making Troy an even more wonderful place to live.See Official Rules for Details
