MAX to Invest in 8 Local Non-Profit Organizations in 2017

MONTGOMERY, AL (March 9, 2017) – MAX is pleased to announce it will once again support eight local non-profit organizations in 2017, both through financial contributions and hands-on volunteer work by its associates.

“At MAX, our passion for investing into the communities we serve is at our core. We work tirelessly to ensure we are making the communities we serve a better place with a brighter future for their residents”, said Jessica Pigg, AVP of Retail Marketing for MAX.”

In 2017, MAX will strategically invest into non-profits located both in the River Region, as well as Lee County. In Montgomery, MAX will support The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, M.A.N.E, and E.A.T. South. In Autauga and Elmore counties, the Prattville Y Field of Dreams and the Alabama Wildlife Federation—Lanark will benefit from MAX’s support. And, for the Lee County market, BigHouse Foundation and Storybook Farm will each receive funding. Each of these eight organizations will be given a donation of $5,000 to support educational initiatives and local events designed to further their causes.

In 2016, MAX made the strategic decision to select eight organizations annually to receive support in order to make a larger impact on the communities that MAX serves. Through each of these partnerships, MAX will arrange volunteer opportunities through events and programs put on by each of these organizations. Each of these non-profits were hand selected by MAX based on the organizations’ efforts to better the lives of others within the community the organization serves. These partnerships have become a valued part of the MAX Community Giving and Volunteerism programs and continue to be synonymous with MAX’s core values.

If other organizations would like to be considered for 2018, please visit under “About Us” and select “Our Community”. All applications must be received by November 30th of this year.
