Direct deposit your tax refund into your MAX account when you file your taxes by mail. Just follow these simple instructions to ensure accuracy when completing your tax forms.

To deposit into your MAX share account: Write your share account number (member number) on the tax form and mark "Savings".

Deposit into your MAX checking or money market account: Write your checking or money market account number on your tax form and mark "checking". Your checking account number is located at the bottom of your checks, after MAX's routing number, 262275958. Hint: Your checking account number is a 13-digit number if it begins with "7" or a 14-digit number if it begins with "1". Include all 13 or 14 digits on the tax form.

Before filing your taxes, please make sure that the MAX account number you entered on your tax forms is correct so that your refund is deposited quickly and accurately in the appropriate account. MAX will not be held responsible for tax refunds that are posted to a valid account number that is not the intended account.* Members requesting refunds to be deposited into an account other than their own account will be responsible for funds recovery, if necessary.
