Member Education - Learn and Plan

Each quarter, MAX offers FREE Education Seminars as a service to our members and their guests by reservation only. All seminars are held in the MAX Eastdale Community Room at our Eastdale Branch.

Youth Financial Education 101
Tuesday, June 11 – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 20 – 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, July 9 – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 18 – 6:30 p.m.

This 90-minute class offered throughout the summer is designed to teach basic money management concepts and skills to students ages 12-18. Concepts covered in the curriculum include:

• Setting financial goals
• Establishing a savings plan
• Tracking and managing spending

In addition to the presentation and fill-in-the-blank listening guide, students will complete practice exercises on creating a budget, managing income and expenses, using a transaction register and more!

This class is fun and interactive, and will give your student a great start toward becoming a financially-independent adult.
