Mortgage Originator - Auburn

MAX is seeking a Mortgage Originator to join the Auburn team.  This position performs a wide variety of duties relating to the origination of residential mortgage loans.  Additionally, this position assists MAX members with loans by performing the origination process from its application stage to its closing stage while also proactively and consistently networking with realtors and builders to promote the benefits of MAX mortgage options available to their customers.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of experience originating various loans to include 1st mortgages, HELOC and 2nd mortgages, a two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS, the ability to effectively multi-task, an attention to detail and a keen ability to meet strict deadlines.  Knowledge of governmental lending guidelines, residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures are a must.

Member Service Consultant

MAX is now seeking experienced Member Service Consultants in the Montgomery and Opelika areas. These skilled individuals will be responsible for assisting members and potential members with their financial needs to include servicing transactions, counseling members on product selection or use, opening new accounts, and processing consumer loans.
